These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Patient", "Client", or "you") and BergemHealth ("BergemHealth", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your use of our website located at bergemhealth.com and any services we provide.
By accessing or using our website, submitting a consultation form, engaging in communication with our team, or booking any service through BergemHealth, you confirm that:
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. The most current version will always be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
BergemHealth is a medical tourism facilitation company. We act as an intermediary service connecting international patients with licensed, independent medical facilities in Turkey — primarily Liv Hospital Ulus, Istanbul — for hair transplant procedures and related services.
Our facilitation services include, but are not limited to:
The specific scope of facilitation services provided to you will be agreed upon in writing prior to any booking confirmation.
3.1 Consultation
Initial consultations coordinated by BergemHealth are provided free of charge and are non-binding. A consultation does not constitute a booking or a commitment to proceed with any procedure.
3.2 Booking Confirmation
A procedure booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a signed Patient Consent and Services Agreement and payment of the required deposit as specified in your personalised treatment proposal. Verbal or informal confirmations do not constitute a binding booking.
3.3 Deposit and Payment
3.4 Cancellation by the Patient
3.5 Cancellation by BergemHealth or the Partner Clinic
In the unlikely event that BergemHealth or the partner clinic must cancel your procedure due to circumstances outside our control (e.g. force majeure, the surgeon's sudden unavailability, or medical contraindications identified at pre-operative assessment), we will:
3.6 Medical Unsuitability
If, following pre-operative medical assessment by the partner clinic, you are deemed medically unsuitable for the procedure, BergemHealth facilitation fees are non-refundable. Any clinic procedure fees already paid directly to the clinic will be refunded by the clinic in accordance with their own refund policy.
BergemHealth provides information on its website and in communications for general informational purposes only. Nothing on our website, in our consultations, or in our communications constitutes medical advice, a medical diagnosis, or a recommendation to undertake any specific medical treatment.
All medical decisions are made exclusively by the qualified medical professionals at our partner clinics. You should:
BergemHealth makes no representation or warranty regarding the clinical outcomes of any procedure performed by partner clinics. Hair transplant results vary significantly between individuals and depend on factors including donor hair quality, degree of hair loss, patient age, health, and adherence to post-operative care instructions. Any results shown (including before/after photographs) are illustrative of individual outcomes and do not guarantee similar results for any specific patient.
By engaging our services, you agree to the following responsibilities:
5.1 Accuracy of Information
You must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information at all stages of your enquiry, consultation, and treatment process. This includes your full medical history, current medications, allergies, previous surgeries, and any conditions that may affect your suitability for surgery. Providing false or misleading information voids any refund entitlements and may expose you to additional liability.
5.2 Pre-operative Compliance
You agree to follow all pre-operative instructions provided by the partner clinic, which may include ceasing certain medications, abstaining from alcohol, avoiding smoking, and attending any required pre-operative tests or consultations.
5.3 Post-operative Compliance
You agree to follow all post-operative care instructions provided by the clinic's medical team, including wound care protocols, activity restrictions, medication schedules, and follow-up appointment requirements. Non-compliance with post-operative instructions may adversely affect your results and may void any clinic-provided guarantees or warranties.
5.4 Travel and Insurance
You are solely responsible for arranging appropriate travel insurance that covers medical tourism, including coverage for complications arising from elective surgical procedures abroad. BergemHealth strongly recommends obtaining comprehensive medical travel insurance before travelling to Turkey for your procedure.
5.5 Valid Documentation
You are responsible for ensuring you hold a valid passport, any required visas or travel authorisations, and that you are legally permitted to travel to Turkey. BergemHealth accepts no responsibility for travel documentation issues.

Details of any pricing agreements, clinical assessments, or treatment plans are shared only with relevant clinical parties on a need-to-know basis, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
BergemHealth shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, civil unrest, government restrictions or sanctions, strikes, or failure of third-party infrastructure.
In such circumstances, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and make reasonable efforts to reschedule or otherwise minimise any disruption to your planned treatment.
We aim to resolve any concerns or complaints promptly and amicably. If you have a complaint, please contact us in the first instance at info@bergemhealth.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and endeavour to resolve it within 30 days.
If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, the parties agree to attempt mediation in good faith before resorting to formal legal proceedings.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy and any specific written service agreement entered into between you and BergemHealth, constitute the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter herein and supersede all prior communications, representations, or agreements, whether written or oral.
We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon publication on this page, with an updated "Last updated" date. We may notify registered users of material changes by email. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
